All wired and installed.. yet not angels

Ok guys.. i bought some Predator Chromiums in the for sale wanted forum. here is what ive done so far.

1: Connected harness to 5 pin relay
2: attached wire with yellow ring to "+"
3:Brown ground wire is bolted ono body colored screw
4: ran wires across to drivers side
5:Tapped into red white stripe and yellow dotted wire
6:Ran Ballasts on boths sides Red to white and brown to black
7:connected angel eyes to ballasts in no particular order
8: Turned lights on.. no angel eyes. what did i do wrong?? Could it be both ballasts are bad? I had a third ballast that was unused and i tested it as well on both sides without any luck. Could all four rings be bad?? Also, i used a tester to see if there was current and i got as far as harness to ballasts, im not sure how to test the ballasts themselves.

Please help..

had the same problem but not with your type angel eyes...found out using a volt meter that you need a direct 12 volt source to power the ballasts...i used the fogs because they have the most direct power...some people run a switch from the battery to the dash and then wire their angel eyes to the switch..all i know is that the headlights...drls...and parking lights don't put off enough power to run the ballasts...try using alligator clips or some jumpers to run power directly from the battery to the positive angel eye wire..if they come on then you know you need more power than the headlights to run the ballasts..good luck!!

Ok guys! Ive done it!!!!! Here is what i did... first.. i got the original 5 pin relay. I put that it and bolted it onto the 10mm bolt on the outside of the passengers side "empty" compartment. Next, this is what fixed the problem. I had the ground wired onto a 10mm bolt on the inside of the passengers side empty compartment. I switched the ground to the cars true ground bolt which is a 19mm bolt with a brown wire already running to it, after doing this my angel eyes worked perfectly. Nevin, PM me, send me pics of your install and i will try to help you out, i will take pics of mine and send them to you as well. I know how frustrating this is and im more than happy to help.
