HID trunk light?

has anyone changed there license plate lights to HID ones? (the light that shows the license plate). Those new Lexus' have them, just wondering if someone did it on their bmer. I heard it will burn the housing...?

lexus has hids in the license plate lights???, I thought they only had the LED bulbs. I saw one today, wasnt bright.

well idk? i guess it's LED bulbs. Lexus' trunk lights are pretty whitish bluish.

yea, it was just about as bright as regular bulbs, but it was bluish white looking. I have seen that some 18 wheelers have them too, especially fed ex trucks.

Not the greatest picture but I really like to color output compared to stock. I order the 16 bulb kit which came with the trunk lights and have had no problems what’s so ever.

your license plate is XXXXXXX or what? anyways what i have heard is that it burns your stock housing...? and if i did get it from bimmian it would be like $24!! when its only like $12!! anywhere else i get it?

ive actually had interior xenons for over a year and they work great, i did change the bulbs out like 2 months ago though, why would i want the cops to notice my license plate more?

I delete my plates for the internet people
I have purchased the cheaper ones and there goes my housing. The bimmians I got now at least by me been problem free.
