New Xenon Angel eyes for my car

I have a 2003 325xi. The car came with the regular head lights. If i upgrade to xenon light package do u know if it will fry my electrical system? btw my car is still under waranty and my dad thinks the change will not only void the waranty but the hotter burning xenon lights could mess up the electical system. thoughts?
