Xenon off balance?

Hi all, I changed out my Hallogen to Xenon, and it was simple, but went to the dealer to have the computer recognize the lights and turn off the light warning on OBC. The dealer said it could not be "flashed" and would have to be retrofited at a tune of $260.00! Crazy, but you figure the dealer knows what should be done. Another prob I have is one seems off center, pointly differently than the other. Same dealer said that was normal for Bi-Xenon. True? I paid the $260.00 BTW, as I just wanted it done. Thanks...

what dealer did you go to... I got it done for free the retrofit option is the flash... i stood there and watched the guy do it.... it took like 5 mins tops!!! no way they should charge you 260 bucks that bull !!!!! at the most if they do charge you it should be maybe like half hour labor TOPS

That would be BMW San Diego. First he said it would have to be sent off to BMW at the tune of thousands, I argued about this board and how everyone's done it, and he re-checked and came back and said it would be $260.00 Should I call the service manager or my credit card company and dispute?
