Yet after 1st round I felt Silva would go after Hendo and he did. That round pumped me up so hard seeing Silva turning up the hit while most of my friends wanted him to lose
Leben: that guy is crazy lol. I really thought he would get KOed this time and the fker still KO his opponent. Mad props to him and his chin.
Props to crazy horse. I expected him to lose and I still think he would of lost if Kongo had a better game plan. Getting on top and mostly not doing much and then getting reversed time after time after time. Still allot of learning for him.
Any1 has Arlovski fight? I wanna see it.
silva is amazing......he will be tops for a while
kongo is overrated...his striking i'm sure is world class, but once he gets on the ground, he's truly an amateur...he needs to learn some bjj or something......he could've taken herrings back a couple times and let him go...not to mention that pathetic rear naked choke attempt......kongo really let me down....

i think liddell is fighting shogun at ufc 85....i could be mistaken

At this point, I don't think there is a person that Silva can't defeat. He should go to LHW, and if I were Dana, I'd give him an immediate title shot. If Jackson is the champ still, he will walk right through him.

i wonder how he'd be with the added weight. he's incredibly quick and efficient in his current shape. it'd be interesting to see none the less

I doubt the guy will ever be very successful but his fights are always awesome and I'll always be cheering for him.

Henderson really should have kept with the smoothering tactic he used in the first round. While he didnt really do much damage.....he had silva in check.

Man the right left knee combo was insane! and clearly is what led to danny boy's downfall.
That's the thing, I don't know why he said that about Franklin. Silva totally pwoned Franklin the last time they fought--literally rearranged his face. Wasn't even a contest.

I'm not sure this is correct, but I heard that Henderson said that Silva is not the best p4p fighter or something like that, and so Silva put Henderson below Franklin on the totem pole.

Ahh, seemed like there was something like that goin on there. So, basically Silva was pissed at Henderson and wanted to show him up. Makes sense.

Hey guys, did anyone else think it was weird that Henderson had so much trouble taking Silva down even when he had a bodylock in the beginning? (maybe the hold is called soemthing different, just when he had both hands locked around silva's waist)

I know there are a few of you who are a lot more experienced at MMA then I am, but back when I wreslted in high school, a takedown was pretty much inevitable if you secured that on someone, or someone had it on you.

It really seemed like he could have just hooked a leg?

In high school, you aren't getting punched and elbowed in the face while trying to take the other person down as well. Silva is so flexible and moves well, so I'm sure it made it just that much harder for Hendo to take him down.

Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell will fight Mauricio "Shogun" Rua at UFC 85, June 14 in London. (AP Images)

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell (21-5-0) has signed his next fight.

Saturday, June 14, in London, England, Liddell will face Mauricio "Shogun" Rua (16-3-0), a fighter once ranked as the top light-heavyweight in the world.

"I think it's going to be a great fight," Liddell tells The Fight Network. "I think he's going to strike, he's going to wrestle a little bit and he's going to mix it up. It should be fun, and it should make for an interesting fight."

Liddell is coming off a unanimous decision win over Rua's former team mate, Wanderlei Silva (31-8-1) at UFC 79: Nemesis on Dec. 29. In his first UFC fight in September, "Shogun" suffered a loss by choke to Forrest Griffin (15-4-0).

Rua owns a pair of first-round wins over current UFC champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (29-6-0), the only fighter to defeat Liddell twice, but Liddell's coach John Hackleman doesn't think that will matter when Rua and Liddell meet each other in London.

"I don't really think that plays a factor in MMA," he says, "because there's so many factors in the sport. This guy beating this guy doesn't mean that guy can beat this guy, so I don't think 'Shogun' beating 'Rampage' has anything to do with anything."

UFC 85 will be the first fight in the U.K. for "The Iceman".

Bet on UFC fights in the Bodog Sportsbook.

Watch MMA fighting every Tuesday with Bodog Fight on The Fight Network at 11 p.m. / 10 p.m Central and on The Score at 9 p.m. / 8 p.m. Central.
