Carpet upgrade completed

I've always liked the look of black carpet in cars with lighter colored interiors. Picked up a black carpet kit of the classifieds here. This isn't a job for the faint-hearted, you have to remove the entire dash to get the carpet out, and even then I ended up cutting the part under the HVAC unit as a complete removal would require pulling the entire heating and cooling system. But, that part is hidden under the center console. It's a full-day job, but I'm very happy with the results, and my total cost was $150. You'll notice the airbag is missing, that's a separate upgrade, I'm waiting for the M3 wheel and airbag to show up.
