Pending Actions Against Fiberdesign

Well today was the day I got fed up with this whole fiberdesign crap. I filed a claim with paypal today to get my 215.00 back for the CSL add-on that I purchased from them that arrived damaged.

I filed the claim with UPS and they came and picked it up. They returned the damaged piece back to them in California on Aug 14. I contacted hung through paypal four days ago about what was going on he stated that I was not getting a refund from him that my refund came from UPS. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited till today to get more info about it. I called UPS and they stated that they have or are giving Fiber design the money for the claim and that I needed to get my money from them. So the gig is up the plan as I see it was for them to get me to wait one more week which would put me out of or almost out of the 30 day period on paypal for making claims. Then they would not have to pay me my money since I would not have a case through paypal. They in turn would more than likely just resale the spoiler since they do CF themselves and fix the chip if at all and mail it to someone else at a later date. Well I contacted my lawyer about it, we are going through these basic channels to pursue the money before I contact the local police in California and pursue a criminal case. There is of course more to it for the criminal side but, I will not be discussing those details. Anyone who is owed money or products, I will update this thread on a regular basis if this does go to court in the end. I have already requested to get time off from my employer to go to California and handle this matter. So I will need any of you to contact me with you info on what you paid and such if it comes to that. The stronger the case the better off everyone is. From my understanding you will not have to be present in court just have a statement prepared and notarized. Any lawyers on here can verify I am not sure how that all works but, I will not be taken advantage of, this a trait I gained in the military if you are owed something or you have been wronged you don’t back down you do everything you have to do to handle the situation. I've seen way to many people complaining about Fiber designs and then putting up with their crappy customer service. Maybe your legal actions will finally set them strait...

I really think it will the goal is to take the business down, it is a more of setting a example for future companies. I feel that if you let companies like this keep getting away with this crap they will never stop taking advantage of customers.

Not like it matters now, he didn't renew his sponsorship deal on E46fanatics for a reason. But I hope it sends Hung a message.

Crooks! Hung, from what I read, is no longer part of FiberDesign. In addition, Carlos (the owner) claims they didn't renew when they were moving down to Fresno. If you're interest in what I just said there is a huge thread stickied under the sponsors section. It's like 8 or so pages and growing hourly.

We if this is the case can you give me the info to getting touch with Carlos so I can get my money back then.. I am checking the other thread to see if it is there.

yeah. i bought a 12" jl audio w6v2 subwoofer that came out of carlos' car. i bought it from the guys at fiber design because carlos was out of town and it said on this forum it came with the warranty. they said yeah just contact carlos and he'll send it to you. i sent carlos a few messages and never once got a response. i figured they were good business people since they were one of our sponsers and because i had sold carlos stock wheels for his car face to face one week prior but i guess i was wrong. good luck with getting your money back man. i hate shitty people.

What branch of the service were you in BamBam? Sounds like fiber-design has met their match and is gonna finally have to pay up.

USMC and I am really getting angry about this crap. I just read the entire post about the guy who lost 6g. I really don't like people who take advantage of other people through deception. I have run into this before with a so called con man from GA who took my god mother for 10k. Me and my god brother finally got him arrested and he did time in three states before he came to Ga to finish his sentence here. He is still in jail to this day and taht was five years ago. I really can't wait for him to get out.

Money is not a issue on the pursuit of this case. I won't stop till there is some resolve to it all. I have already spoken to my god family and they are behind me 100 percent so now I have financial backing to take this to the end.
