Shock sensor warning signal!!!
I believe I have figured out how to get the stock alarm to have a warning signal. If the high sensitivity wire on the shock sensor is hooked directly to the input for the siren, it will sound the alarm only for the time that the sensor is activated. What the shock sensor does is simply connect the 12v power supply to whatever is hooked up to the sensitivity wires when it is rattled. hig/low sensitivity is fed 12v depending on the size of the shake.
With this method, if you bump into the car, the siren will go off for a brief moment, thus creating a warning. If the car is hit hard enough, the low sensity wire hooked up to the actual alarm trigger wire will trip the alarm. I need to find the input for just the siren that feeds into the general control module behind the glove compartment or anywhere near there. If anyone has the wiring diagram, I'd appreciate a little help here. Let me know if anyone has tried this. Thanks in advance! |
