Turn Signals + P46s?! Help!

Right, so I've installed P46s and they're working very well...except since I had to buy new housing and all, there are no longer plastic ridges for my turn signals to fit into! On my halolgen headlight housing there were two piece of plastic on the end that the turn signal slid into to stay secure. With the new P46s housing, these ridges are gone and there is NOTHING holding my turn signals in. Please don't let me resort to duct tape...

hmm there should be, at least mine does. I wonder if you got screw-in type housing by mistake instead of a clip-in type housing for your corner lights? If thats the case, I don't beleive there are any screw-in type corner lights available for pre-facelift sedans.

You received the new housings that have screw in turn signals.

Yeah, and I made sure I ordered P46s for my sedan. If I buy those turn signals, they won't fit on my sedan...

Wow, it will be a pain in the ass to uninstall my lights, re-package them, and send them back...

you might not have to, take a picture of your housing in that portion if you have a digital camara.

You don't have any ridges whatsoever like in the picture below?

ok, what you need to do is get the 01 screw in turn signals from the dealer.
Not 00 and back, and not 02 and up.
ONLY the 01. Should be about $45 for a pair NEW and clear.

So I can buy a set of clear screw in pre-facelift corners? That's the best news I've heard all day. I reeaaally didn't want to have to return my P46s...

Just to clarify my problem (I don't want to order the wrong parts) here are some pictures of the issue:

But anyway, as you can see from the first picture I now need screw in corners. I called Stevens Creek and they said it would be $118...awful. But I guess that's my only option. I'm still skeptical that clear corners for a pre-facelift sedan are even made...but we'll see.

OK, I think this info is wrong. I have an 01 sedan, and they required the push in corners. 02-05 are definetley screw in, but the 99-01 sedans were all the same.

Check Realoem.com as well: theses are the push in type on an 2001
