Trouble with the Law

Has anyone gotten in trouble or heard of anyone getting in trouble for having headlights that were too blue,

I am interested in getting HIDs for my fogs and i want a really blue look.. i was thinking 10000k, but i am worried at the same time of getting a ticket for being deep blue. Suggestions are welcome as is ur advice

I haven't heard of anyone being tickted for the color. You may get ticketed for lights not bright enough if you're going that deep in blue.

10000K is pretty blue. Why not try something like 6000 or 8000? I would suggest you look at the local laws in florida to see what is legal and what is not

They don't want you to have anything blue because they use that on their light bars when pulling people over. They dont want people thinking your a cop. The same thing for those stupid led windshield washer sprayers that light up. No blue lights are allowed. I have heard of all of this

10k is insane you prolly wont be able to see a car 50 yards from you. If you dont already know the brighter the buld the less distance that it emits.I know it prolly looks like the can shine far away but realistically they cant I would stick with 8k max and I would suggest 6k

As for the ticket part i dont think they will pull you over for that unless you are driving like a mad man than they will prolly also give youa ticket for your headlights.

If these are for fogs, I don't think it would be too much of a deal, even though it's still illegal.
