Black gets hot, and is incredibly hard to keep clean. White cars look SO clean, and are easy to keep clean, and just look so classy. I would NEVER buy a black car. They also show swirl marks like no other.

Black looks good but its way too much work, and every single flaw shows. I want my white car back.

Depends on how you have setup your base. If you have a good machine or get it professionally polished with a very high quality wax swirls will stay to a minimum as long as you aren't careless when washing the vehicle. I use a wax not available in stores that puts on a thick, hard protection on the clearcoat that might refresh if I was careless with a quick wash by not keeping my microfibre cloth clean between body panels. Makes sure there's lots of bubbles!!

I can still clean my car and 135M wheels decently as well as full dry including all door/trunk/hood jams in about 45 mins. I'll put a layer of wax on the hood/roof/trunk top if I need since my car's an outdoor car.

After just about 100,000 miles my hood looks like this:

i wash my car atleast once a week and it's well worth it. silver is ugly and plain. red blue or white are considerations.

Agreed! As long as you keep the car clean, its well worth it. Living in New England already makes it really hard to keep it clean, but once its washed and waxed, its definetly worth it.

I'd get black again if I could afford to have someone wash and detail it every weekend. So during the meantime, I'll be looking for a silver car.

I wouldn't, for two reasons. One it gets dirty where I live in 10 minutes. Two, swirl marks. Three I would rather have a white car with black accents.
