When I had HID fogs, I went from 7000k to 6000k and the 6000k is much better and bluer

I highly recommend you go with the 6000k. They are a pure white with a hint of blue and are by far our most popular choice. Not to mention they will perfectly match most recent angel eye kits, including our Predator Chromiums, and can be paired with our 6000k D2S bulbs for a completely matching front end lighting setup.
We are actually running a special on our ProLumen HID Kits for $275 shipped. These come with a full lifetime warranty and plug and play installation for your convenience |

I also got a 6000K HID kit (Apexcone/XTEC) in my fogs for $200 shipped (through a group buy). These also come with a full lifetime warranty, plug and play installation, and integrated ballasts (no separate igniters and additional wires to install or to deal with). Depending on what you have in your low beams, you may want to match your fogs to those. I've seen 5000K in fogs and they look pretty good (and slightly whiter and brighter than 6000K).

^^^ it's more of a bluish/white.. i've seen many brands but IMO the best is ProLumen because of cost, color and visibility.. you can buy from Jlevi or umnitza.. both are great vendors..
oh the only HID kit that IMO is better than ProLumen is the actual Philips 6000k hid kit.. but they run at around 400. dollars..
