ANNOYING!! running lights

has anyone ever tried to unplug the inner headlights on there projector light equiped e46? they are allways on and you can never be in stealth mode. there only used as "passing lights" but i dont know if it will damage my lights (expencive) to flash as the highbeams instead of the other lights.

if you unplug them you will get the headlight out warning on your dash, can you convert it to Euro? because we dont have it

Cant the dealer have them turned off for like 50 bucks??
I have the same thing, but I was about to go to the dealer, I assume you can still flash, but the software will keep the DTR off.

correct me if i am wrong

Just go to the dealer and have them switch the Daytime Running Lights off. Takes about 30 minutes and ~$50.
