FMIC for 323ci
I was at a website and it showed that somebody that had a 323ci with a FMIC with no supercharger or turbo. What is the point of it? Is it just like an intake or just for looks? I really dont read or see a FMIC for BMW that much. Only from Active Autowerks or Technik. Pretty new to all this stuff. Seeing if somebody can shed some light on me regarding FMIC and where else i can look for Supercharger kits and turbo kits for a 2000 323ci.

just for looks, i know for like civics and stuff they have one that works as a cai but thats bout it

If the guy has an intercooler w/o a supercharger or turbo , He just mounted it to look cool and to block his radiator.
I always thought an intercooler sucked in air but its basically a pipe that has been flattend with fins so that the hot compressed air passing thru the intercooler gets cooled by air from the out side like a heaksink. The intercooler does not suck in air at all . And as for finding SCs for your car, this is the place. Your post got moved from General to FI forum .

 I would literally point and laugh at someone if I ever saw that. It's their car and all they can do what they want, but IMO passing your car off as something it's not is posing plain and simple IMO.

So do you guys know of place in the Orange County area that builds custom turbo kits for Bmw's? ( refering to a 2000 323ci ) I know where to get a Supercharger Kit...But ive never seen a turbo kit! ( im a newb ) Any info would be awesome.

I'm sure a turbo kit for the e46 will make it's way out soon enough. Just give it a little bit more time...
