Interior lights question

Hello everybody,

A friend of mine was wondering how much it would be to do something like this to his interior?

Also where can he find the bulbs to do this?

Thanks in advance guys!

from the looks of it, it will require a lot of electrical knowledge. i have contemplated on doing so as well and it requires soldering and finding out which LEDs go to which. there's a thread about it, and the average human would not be able to do it. you can go with the interior xenon for the lights and stuff, but for the buttons and cluster and such is a whole other thing.

No not really. Just go here and buy a few LED tubes.

Stick one under each footwell, and tap into the existing footwell light. The door can be done by cutting out the space in the interior trim for the tubes, and again tap into a source, whicever interor wire that is easy.

As for the dash lights, I have seen a couple DIYs here and there on this site that mesk the process pretty straight forward. Or you can always take it to a shop and have them do it.

i don't care for the visible strip on the door trim, but all in all the uniformity sets the interior off nice.. good luck with the app!
