Xenon Upgrade Kits...

Just purchased one of the last 325i sedans with a 6 speed manual transmission at my local dealership .... unfortunately it does not come with the Xenons . So i was considering an upgrade and was wondering if anyone here has had any luck with such with aftermarket upgrades like the following:
http://www.namotorwerks.com/products...hp/II=288/PA=0

Some items of concern would be:
1) overall quality
2) ease of install
3) overall look and satisfaction with light performance and appearance
4) compadability with BMW software warning lights

thanks!

sorry... clarification: it is an E90. just traded in my e46. ok, so you might be asking "why dont you post on the e90 site?". I did ...but did not get any responses. relatively speaking, that board is quite new and does not yet have the desired traffic to get answers to common questions.

maybe you should try e90post.com they are quite lively over there. ebay might have oem xenons that you can retrofit. i'm sorry, i'm not too knowledgeable about e90s.

the halogen headlight assembly on the e90 is essentially the same as the e46 ... they use the same H7 bulb. that being said, wanted to know who here has installed xenon retro kits on their e46's and what their impressions are of the kits.

Louis - I think there is confusion on what you actually have.

The last sedan E46 was an 05, if you have an E46, then you need a full headlight package to get Xenon (we have those in stock).

If you have an E90, the headlights are nothing like the E46, and the only way to do this is to purchase Euro or US Xenons for your car separately and usually at this time only from the dealer.

You really have two options for the E90:

Purchase Euro or US xenon headlights (~$2600 for a pair).

Purchase an HID kit such as our ProLumen HID kit and retrofit it into your stock halogen housings.

Moral of the story: If you want xenons with your E90, make sure they're installed on the car by the factory when you buy it.
