My Ride: BMW Z4 3.0
TS or TX2?

Guys,

Now that the TS has finally been released I am in a bit of a pickle... I was planning on buying a used TX2 system at the end of this month. But now I can get a TS stage one for slightly less than the used price of the TX2.

What does everyone think, I know it's hard since no one has seen the TS. For me

TS1
+More efficient
+Looks like stock
+Easier to change back to OEM setup
+ Self installation
+ Two years warranty??
- Probably going to stress the drivetrain more
- Poorer fuel consumption since it makes full boost at 2000rpm

TX2 setup
+ Tried and tested
+ More power for same money
+ Better fuel consumption
+ Less stress on car
- Only one year warranty left

Which would you go for?

For what its worth, i think the 2nd hand price of that TX2 kit is too pricey.......and Jason is right in saying that the TS1/2 will be a much better solution in the long term although there is the possibility of early `teething `problems as with any new device. Personally, i chose to sell my new TX1 because the TS looks superb and stealthy as well as makes oodles of torque at such low revs and surely that`s got to put a smile on anyone`s face.......

If I were in the market I'd choose the TS in a heart beat.

There are somethings I like better about a centrifugal setup (bling wise), but performance wise TS pretty much takes the cake.

Hopefully this will help, just about every car maker that offers a SC from the factory uses a twin screw or similar roots type. i dont know of any that use a cintrifucal
