How tough was it getting the Z1 in the dash in terms of wiring and cutting the vents? Did you end up leaving the floor vents closed all the way or partially open? I will be doing this shortly and am trying to plan. Thanks!

The left bottom corner of the bezel seems to be sitting deeper than the right bottom.... Maybe it's just the pic... but if it's really so it'd drive me nuts.

Maybe you should ask Rich. I think there is a way to "push it out" a little...

My bezel also turned out less than perfect the first try, but I had it fixed.

steering wheel control still works. if you're getting a z1 or any pioneer unit you have to get the "PAC SWI-PS" control

I really like this unit, but the blue lights turn me off. Does any manufacturer make a unit with lighting similar to the BMW?
