Feel around under left hand corner of your front bumper but more to the left hand side in front of the wheel. Something should be scraped and or hanging down if you've damaged the temp sensor. Very common problem in the e46.

I think i paid close to a grand to get mine fixed but only because so many other things underneath ripped off as well. The part itself shouldnt be more than a few hundred. Worx will know im sure.
I checked last night. Are you alking about the round thing that clips into the bottom of the front bar? If so then it is intack and the contact is clean. I have noticed that the sensor is working but is giving incorrect readings when the weather is cold

yep it should have two wires red and blue i think coming out of a little black box. If the black plastic corner piece is severely damaged the sensor has probably been pulled out. Look for one or two dangling wires by the horns or fog lights just in front of the front wheels. It does usually show a -40 reading though so perhaps yours is not this.

caught a quick glimpse of a mystic blue M3 today pulling out of the Shell at North Ryde (on Epping Rd) at around 10am this morning. It had black wheels and (I think) a big brake kit.....

Debadged E34 M5 by the looks of in in navy blue, WORX sticker on the back window, deep dish black wheels (I'm guessing E34 M5 OEM wheels with the center pieces removed) heading down Burbong St Chapel Hill, in Brisbane.

Had Victorian plates on it, and given the sound the thing made as he went off I'm guessing WORX did a bit more than just service the thing.

Think I've seen him before around Chapel Hill recently, absolutely love nicely kept E34s, they're the meanest looking 5s of the lot, old school German muscle look.

Wasn't any pink badge, but there was a sort of sticker that looked like those Nurburgring stickers where you would expect the M5 badge to be. Almost certain it was navy blue as well rather than black/grey.

Looked very serious with the deep black dish / silver rim M5 wheels sans centers.

Wasn't planning on racing anything in the 328i, but there is a guy at the other end of burbong street with an Oxford Green '93 540i 4.6 ESS supercharged that tends to have a go whenever ricers are around. Think there's probably about 8-10 E34s in the street including our two at the moment.

That much money for a car and they spray it hacket gold =( The other thing is the mirrors look like they were inspired by some sort of fern or plant from Avatar.

Black or gunmetal and it'd look incredible. Sans mirrors.
