Didn't even bother to take a picture.
when i was working in the servo stations i used to refuse service unless they put proper fuel in their bmw, i got in so many arguements cause one lady kept filling it with e10

and also the not washing thing, i work in an industrial area and the car gets covered in all types of crap, in one day there would proberbly be more crap on it than most people would get in 3 weeks but every weekend im out in the yard washing it properly, when people dont take care of their cars it shits me, and even worse when its a real nice car like a bmw or sports car

Some people are just clueless. I once (and only once) had to put a small quantity of 95 in my E46 M3 to reach the next servo with 98 and straight away the difference was obvious. I'd hate to think how it would react to 91. If that guy ever sells the car, god help the sucker who buys it!

Nah was probz running sh1t because you had like 300ML of fuel in there...
not because it was 95RON...

Ive filled with 95 a couple of times.. and didnt notice a difference between that and 98... but in saying that I 95% of the time fill with 98 just for peace of mind..

It could have been pinging slightly without you noticing though. I remember when i picked up my car, it still had a bit of 91 in it cause second hand dealers dont go premium. My friend was driving it and as i drove side by side as we were going uphill I could hear it ping. We stopped at the next servo and added 98 straight away.

Maybe 95 is ok but def not 91

The compression on a not M BMW is fine to run on 95.

Saw a black e46 the other day on banksia st towards la trobe uni. Turned right where the panel beaters are located towards la trobe uni., had a 'worx' rego holder on the back, angel eyes, debadged, and if I'm not mistaken running m5 replica wheels.. I was in the e93 and also saw him on the way back near manningham road. He saw me for sure because I was rushing to work and he was trying to keep up. Anyone here? Looked like a member from here.

As I remember from m3's and non-m cars, minimum is 91 ron for non-m cars and minimum 95 ron for M cars. Although 91 ron is still usable for M cars, just not recommended for long use.

You can put any petrol you want in... It will run. You should look up charts of what compression ratios works best with RON rating.

Was it the one with the black Volks? I saw him parked on Anzac Parade outside UNSW at around mid day.

I didn't catch what rims he was on as we were driving in opposite directions. But could quite possibly be the same car.
