All the stuff seems inter changable like I have the C4 R servo, keas c4 9 bolt valvebody and my box was an 8 bolt.
C6 has an 31 spline output shaft much stronger then the C4/C9 setup, as its out of the ford light truck range not car range, so it would feet much better to your GTHO tailshaft as thats 31 spline.

I never counted the splines on the output shaft. The tailshaft came from a mate of mine in QLD along with the diff. I know it had to be tweaked to fit the Cortina so he might have put a different yoke on the front to fit the C4/9. I will find out and report back. I also have a Cortina tailshaft at home, I will count the splines on that.

The standard tailshaft which was mated to a BW auto/manual fits a C4/9 without any mods.

yep that was me in the terrible Toorak traffic on Thurs.
Had to pull out into the sidestreet to close the top as it started to rain of course.
Ta for the spot even though me car wasn't clean :p

Saw a few Beemers down there but didn't think it would be anyone off here as the plates weren't personalised.

SPOTD an e46 vert down Beach Rd Port Melb/St Kilda yesterday being pushed. Had to do a double take as i thought it may have been an e36 breaking down like that. I thought these cars were supposed to be more reliable, i'd die if mine broke down mid traffic with the roof back too!!
