Does anyone know if PSS9 coilovers
can be used on the 2001 330i Sedan as well as the 2002 M3?

They have PSS9 specific for M3. But PSS9 can be used throughout all E46 from 318-330. (Beside ti, xi and wagon)
And call your local Bilstein dealer, cause I remember hearing some people having problem on 330ci. But not sure about the 330i. But there is no problem with other E46 model. |

There is a potential problem with PSS9 on the 330i and 330Ci
I've researched this in the past when I was considering puting PSS9 on my 330Ci. Apparently the problem is with the rear spring perch. There is a large nut on the bottom that could make contact with the rear drive axle if the suspension is fully unloaded. There are plenty of people with 330s running PSS9 with no problems at all...but you should be aware there is a potential problem. Bilstien recognizes the problem and no longer officially sells the PSS9 for the 330 line up.
You can easily work around this by using H&R rear coilover spring perches with the PSS9 setup. Turnermotorsports can get them for $160 a pair. Good Luck! |
