Kicker 02VS10L7 enclosed subwoofer

Any thoughts or reviews? Or should I go with the 02VS12L7 w/ the 12in sub?

Was planning on getting jl audio 2 10w3 enclosed subwoofer? Don't want to build a custom box. The jl audio box is a little wide (32.25) for my trunk (only 30 inches behind the rear seats). The kicker box is a better size at 28 inches.

Would I go wrong with going with the kicker? Still planning on the jl audio 500/1 amp...

I like my 12L7 so far. Went with a custom fiberglass enclosure though.

fuschnicken, can you post pics of your subwoofer setup? Which amp are you running?

Don't have time to post any pics up yet. I will post some within the month. Car is being prepped for an upcoming show, so haven't had a chance to take pics. Plus, I'm lazy.

I'm running an Alpine V12 5-channel amp. Running the 12L7 off that now, and in the future, will replace all internal components.

I just installed my Kicker 12" L7 today. I also got a Kicker 600.1 amp. Right after the install, I turned the gain and bass boost ALL the way up... I couldn't even tell the sub was working or not, but I could feel it vibrate slighty. I was very afraid that this was the max power. Then after screwing with the settings for a while, I decided to turn the little screws in the Vendetta II line converter. Then BAMMM. I almost blew my damn windows out of my car. 1 of these babies will be enough to rattle cars next to you. I'm still playing with some settings on the amp, but I am very pleased with this subwoofer.

BTW, whats a good setting for the crossover?

the kicker 600.1 amp should be better for the L7's, cause its MAX rms power is 730 watts. The 12" L7 requires at least 650 to make it function to its full potential.

I drive a Geo Metro because my metro is faster then any bmw here. I have an exhuast, intake, nos, and header. And my chrome hubcaps are lightweight so my car is just as good as a bmw if not better. And THAT my friend, is why I am here.
