help with jl w7 and xtant x1001

is this amp going to be overkill for one 12" jl w7? i got the amp brand new for $560 and sub brand new for $430 so i couldn't pass it up.

anyone know of a good place in norcal to build a custom enclosure for the w7 to fit the trunk of my cab?

thanks,
Wes

That set-up should work just fine. Not that overkill.

not overkill dude... in fact, when ur dealing with high end subs like the w7, its best to have extra power on hand.... they love the power and their power handling is almost always understated... and the w7 can take heaps of power.
