I own a Custom 22....

And yes, I own both an Epiphone and a Gibson. Epiphone is crap compared to the real thing.

who invented the first solid body electric guitar? les paul for EPIPHONE. epiphone is still, and always was, its own company. that means they manufacture their own hardware and guitars under license and supervision from gibson. how did gibsons get to where they are? by using epiphone inventions and technology. how did the two come together? because les paul called gibson execs and told them to buy the epiphone company

the squier line of guitars is BY fender. squier by itself is not a company. epiphone by itself is and they are LICENSED under les paul himself to be authorized les paul guitars. there is a big difference

the PRS SE guitars are licensed by paul reed smith himself to be of the same manufacturing quality and use the same materials as the american-made ones. the difference? korean made are not carved tops simply because that majorly cuts down production costs. the other difference? PRS locking tuners. is that worth $3200? i dont think so

now you have some genuine knowledge

dont get your panties in a bunch, nobody really cares, just pointing out that SE isnt a "real" PRS.

Enjoy the new guitar.

"real" does not equate to "american made"

keep that in mind
