yes
oriental rug is a particular style of rug and will forever be called that
but more and more people are shifting away from using oriental in describing things

lack of front facing camera
no flash on camera
no zoom
sound options are limiting and don't always do what you want it to do
random lag and AT&T reception getting worse in many areas

love the screen and size
love swype
but i think some other phones have it better

Camera does zoom, just use the volume buttons to zoom in/out when in camera mode.

I do agree with the the no flash complaint. The windows 7 version of this phone has the flash, gayness. Front facing camera, not an issue for me, i would honestly never use it. And yes, battery life is its downfall.

I have experienced a small bit of lag once or twice, but were talking about a PHONE that has the processing power of a computer from like 2003, fairly impressive imo. No doubt there are many better phones, but for what this thing does, i gotta say i like it.
