Nothing really.....my dad had a bunch of them as pilots logs and I guess it carried over to me. I take notes in them when I'm studying for my CFP designation. That way when I put them on the bookshelf in my office at work they look normal and subtle.

I wasn't aware that asians shaved enough to warrant a nice lather brush

I was referring to a safety razor, IE: ditching the mass produced one and getting something better.

well... the proglide is readily available, cheap, disposable, etc etc..
boutique stuff have too much maintenance...
