Will a Haltech Interceptor work with the OEM ECU?
Hi,
I have a '01 E46 325i with ASA SK1 Infinitas SC kit installed. I have tried fitting the Stage 2 Pully with dyno tuning with my exisiting piggyback, the Apexi SAFC II. All is well with the SAFC II with the Stage 1 but with the smaller pully (Stage 2) i am getting knocking. So i am now after a piggyback with igniction timing. Has anyone tried to mate the Haltech to the OEM ECU? Haltech isn't chep so i do not wish to buy and try, to find out later that it won't work. Any advice would be great! TIA. |

The R1 makes it fun

I think your best bet with the Infinitas kit is to ditch all your piggyback engine management and go with a tuned OEM ECU.
Technik can help you with that; just ask about their ASA supercharger tuned ECU and the car should be running perfectly.
