angel eyes on the 335i suck
Anyone notice that the outer rings don't light up properly on the 335i headlights? They are dimmer and the circle is totally cut off at the top. And at angles, the outer ones don't even show so when you see the front from any angle other than straight on, you will only see the inner rings lit up. Looks so ghetto.

interesting... I noticed the exact opposite on the 335i. I thought they looked VERY bright, similar to the aftermarket CCFL DDEs.

They are pretty bright from straight on but when viewed from an angle, the outer rings fail to light up as bright. I would say they light up at only 60% the brightness of the outer ones from an angle. I just noticed this from driving in front of several 335i's and saw them in my rear view mirror. I will say that they look better overall than the rings on the E90.

335i is an E92 (coupe) E90=all the new sedans. Basically the coupe rings look brighter and larger than the sedan ones.

I saw one yesterday drive past and the angel eyes were super bright. Just wish they were 6000K not halogen. |

yes a 335i sedan will look nice here
.EDIT- Now that I think of it what is the point of having a letter after the number on the new 3 series? Is not like before that I was foa sedan the ic for a coupe.

PIAA makes a replacement bulb for the "angel eyes" that will give it a 6K look. They retail for about $150.
