poll: who is the youngest e46 bmw owner

I wonder who is the youngest E46 owner that has PAID OFF his/her car and what do they do for a living.

has to be me! i just paid off my 323ci and now im selling it on autotrader im 17! i explained what i do in the previous page...

im 17....guess not the younget but pretty young i gues...only had my license for like a year...i like in canada...and i hate the winter...car looks like shit in the winter..i wanna move to cali or miami fav places!

my cars also paid off...

i was 16 when i joined, now 17

how many of u 16/17 year old got their car given to them by their parents? just curious.. cause anyone around here thats that age and driving ANY bmw their parents got it for them..

i had worked previously and saved up $6K i gave all of that too my dad for the car. all mods also were paid for by me.

i'm 19 and i can proadly say i purchased the car by myself, 04 325i. Its under my name and all. My parents didn't help with anything, not even financing the car.

like i said im 17 my dad financed the 323ci for me and i paid it every month... then i just paid it off for like 11k... i need to sell it because i decided to buy a m3 which is also being financed , but im paying for it myself too! 488 a month not bad for a 02 with 29k miles haha

20, bought my 04 coupe when was 19, and just recently got 01 lude both paid with my own cash and in my name, dont live with parents, i honestly would never ask my parent for money to buy or help me buy a car....but thats just me.

Well my first 330i was just premium pkg and cold weather... and automatic... this 325i is sprot pkg and 5 spd... i'm also considering getting this 05 330i... im basically eventually getting closer to what i want, 330ci... however i really didnt like driving auto anymore so i subjected myself to the 40 less hp ...

Threads like this make me somewhat sick. When I was in high school my first car was a rusting toyota corolla hatchback, my second was a toyota tercel, then a saturn SC2, and now my 330ci. So I was 25 when I got it. My Dad would have never financed a bmw for me even if I made enough to pay for it. Nothing against you guys. You should feel sooooooooo lucky and thankful to have one at your age. Also, mad props to those of you who got one all by yourself with no, and I mean no, help. I was 25 and barely had enough credit, with a down payment of $5000, to purchase a used 2001 330ci. I also had to give the 5000 in order to not have a cosigner. Ugh. I also think that it was good that I didn't get anything handed to me as it made me repect and learn about cars before buying the ultimate driving machine.

Just thought I'd share my opinion.

thats legit bro, i could have bought my car acash tho but i asked my dad to finacne it as i am not old enough in order to invest more money into buying and selling into my buisness. if i blew it all at once on a car i would have nothing and for now thats a nono but if something ever happens the money is in the bank and i can take care of it. for every man his own!

I'm 17, dad passed away a while back a couple days after my 16th birthday so I took over his old vehicle.. '01 GMC Yukon, drove that for a few months. My mom decided she wanted a new car after things were settled which was quite fine with me because that meant I was gonna get her 2003 325ci!! (which was the OB one that I blacked out, dropped, etc..) I put about $4,000 into that yukon (wheels, drop, ice) and was forced to quickly sell it and didnt really get what I wanted but still got pretty good money (15,000). That $15,000 went to the payment of my mothers new car '06 AW X3 which she is leasing. I came accross the M3 I now own and decided the price was to big of a steal to pass up ($30,000 keeping in mind the mileage 31,000 and a clear/clean title and its an 03.5) So after having my 325ci for 8 months I just recently sold it and got $17,500 for it (wanted more but had to get rid of it) With that money, plus money I had.. I bought my M3 which I plan to keep very very many years. M3 has always been a dream of mine... never thought Id own an e46 ///M at this age or ever for that matter, I dont think anyone understands the joy this car brings to me. My big plan for it is to remain with low mileage, and to be modded tastefully. Sometime around may I plan to buy a used yamaha R6 and some sort of very cheap DD. IF that does happen, the ///M will be a garaged and covered car 5-6 days out of the week. Oh and, all mods are purchased by me.. I dont think it's right any other way.

what year will you be looking into?

i actualy have had a r6 since i was 15 i sold the dirtbikes pt in about 1800 and bought a 99' r6. i like it a lot its fast as hell... when i go to college next year im going to buy a 2006 r1 now thats some serious bike!!! what abhout you?
