i got these in today, they look and fit great except for one part, the part that holds the bulbs doesnt clip in, has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?

what kind of aftermarket tails did you get? the depo ones if i remember correctly has it's own bulbs in individual holders. you don't use your oem holders at all. if it's the euro oem ones, then you have to modify the housing to put it in. if you take the tail light out and then put the bulb holder one, you can tell which of the prongs you need to cut in order for it to fit snugly

yea it's only one. mine was more in the center, but i had a facelift sedan. just take yours out and it'll be a no brainer when you put the two pieces together

Yep. As mentioned, put the cover against it to see where it's hitting. Then take some cutters and snip it. That picture actually shows the OEM american one doesn't have the raised prong there. The euro ones get a prong there and keep the US ones from fitting. Incase anyone notices I have LEDs, this was before I swapped to LEDs. Those have no issues as the back cover just clicks in.
