2007 M6 Mark Up

went to New Century BMW in Alhambra, CA to get my car serviced and saw a black 2007 M6 coupe in the showroom.

MSRP: $106,000 and a markup of $30,000

Total: $136,000

Are they out of their minds? Who'd pay a $30K markup?!

i dont get it, is there that high a demand for M6?
ive seen more phantom,enzo around here than M6

FYI for the LA guys....

Bob Smith BMW in Calabasas has a policy of not marking up ANY of their vehicles. M6, M5, M3 etc they sell them at sticker.

Glad to hear that since I am hgh up on their list for the E90/92 M3

Its the west coast and any large market is going to charge dealer markups....check a dealer in Oregon or the like.

cars like that sit on the lot here in michigan, not much demnd for them at all. The sweet thing about michigan is i have seen some z06's for sale in the low 70s. They offer GM employee discounts to everyone here.

What's the worst that could happen, they won't sell? As soon as they bring down the price they'll move quickly. Why not take advantage of what people are willing to pay?

LOL michigan here. Yeah I have seen 3 on the road since launch. Everyone here doesnt buy cars like that. GM Ford and Chrysler have too many good sales and offers for michigan residents. I barely see BMW even when im out in bloomfield hills i see more p-cars. I just think its cool that Michigan has 2 official lotus dealers, a lamborghini dealer, and a bugatti dealer. I think the only other state that has all three is california (but I wouldnt be suprised if illinois or new york did)

In the troy motor mall. Its in the same dealer as the Lamborghini dealership. I never saw a BUGATTI in there they just have a sign and according to the bugatti web page its there. Oh yeah whoever has not been to the Veyrons webpage should go. CLIT ME

they are selling for a steal here in the bay area at stevens creek BMW....the mark up is only 25k
