WeissLicht Angel Eyes?

I'm planning on getting AE's for my 2004 bmw 325xi and I've been searching on a few forums to see which AE's are best to get and everyone's reviews are pointing at the WeissLicht AE's. So I went on their website and checked out the AE's, they're offering differnt types of AE's and I'm not sure which ones to buy. If you guys have the WeissLicht AE's and would like to give me some feedback on what I should get, that would be great!

I'm also looking at getting LED clear markers and I looked them up on this website and they're going for about $100, is it worth it?

Different types and Prices of AE's:

WeissLicht 42-LEDs Per Ring x 4 Piece Kit (Clear or Frosted)- $149
WeissLicht HD 120-LEDs Per Ring x 4 Piece Kit (Clear or Frosted)- $199
WeissLicht Up to 78-LEDs Per Ring x 4 Piece Kit (Clear) - $149

The more LED's you have, the better. It will look much better and frosted would be my choice because it hides them and the entire ring just glows. As for the clear sidemarkers, be sure that if you do this you put clears all around. What color is your car? Some colors look better than others with the clears.

So you're suggesting I get the HD 120 LED AE's? My car is color is titanium silver, I've seen pictures of the look I'm going for and it looks awesome!

Yes and yes you have the perfect color for clears! It just doesn't look right with orange!

Of course! And I would recommend clear indicators with led bulbs that light up orange. Take out the orange bulbs that come with them and use the LEDs instead. Try ledautomotive.com. That's the only one I can think of off the top of my head but the sponsors are sure to have the bulbs as well, bimmian, Umnitza, ecs, turner

I have the Weisslichts. I really like the fitment - most rings are smaller than the high beam bowls. These are the same size so they look a lot nicer. They're bright though, especially at night. I have mine wired up so that when the headlights come on, they switch over and get powered through a resistor, cutting the brightness a bit.

Wow, $350?! I'm just curious to which ones you guys got? The 40 LED Angel Eyes, or the HD 120 LED Angel Eyes?

I have V2's for almost 5 years. ZERO signs of failure and still running strong. I've installed about 100 sets of angel eyes and V2's are the only ones I recommend. Any other with have LED fail no matter what.

How does the size of the high beam ring compare to the highbeam bowl?

3+ years on my WeissLichts; no signs of failure. Not a single burnt out LED.

They're the same size rings (only thing a lot of people don't like) but I have no problem with that.

I'm in that group lol

As far as reliability, though, mine have worked without a hitch.

We sell the exact same ring Orion Lite for a lot less, the 120LED version is $140, and 66 LED = $70.
It's worth it to get to the Orion V2 or the Orion V4
