I dont have any secrets other than me winning a small lawsuit from back in 2004 that I have been saving the money for to put as a down payment but I will admit that I am not graced with money and I dont have rich parents however I am just fortunate that I have people in my life that co-signed for me to help me out. I get looks everyday from most people and ask the same questions as to how the hell I am able to afford it and it seems like I am the talk of the base. I am not banking any of my BAS, that gets taken out for meals being that I live in the dorms and I dont get BAH because I can't move off base till I hit SrA (E-4) so I just pay for it straight out of my check every month. I dont stay with my parents, them being back in GA and me being stationed here in Phoenix Arizona. With that said, I pay for everything on my own with no help from my family, I still have money left over and it is MY car, not mommy's and daddy's.

that's insane.. but sweet good for u !! .. how much are ur payments?.. 4-500?... must've been a pretty sweet down payment though.. congrats!.. to think i was the talk of my base when i bought my car when i was 18 and A1C

Sergeant with 8 years in the New Jersey Army National Guard... 19K/20 M1A1 Tank Crewman Gunner but I recently re-class and my MOS now is 19D/20 Scout Tow Gunner. I was also an MP when I was deployed at the best island of Cuba.

I just want to get this straight for those ignant' saying the National Guards are just a weekend warriors. We National Guard members went through the same basic training as active duty, we abide by the same Army Regulation and we still exceed the standards even though it is a one weekend a month drill.

Recent qualification: Expert in 9mm and sharpshooter in M16A2.

SCOUTS OUT!! WWWHHOOOOAAAHHH!!!!!!

Got back from Iraq in Dec.

All that re-enlistment money helps out when getting a Bimmer, hehe. Got my 330Ci for 18k 5.5k down. Payments come out to $200 even, woot. Gotta love good credit.

Good luck to everyone else in the sandbox and on there way over there.

My best friend is in boot camp for the Marines, so that makes me a supporter of the US military.

It was actually his idea to get an M3 for himself before I got my 323i which was ironic
