Angel Eye Problem

I currently purchased a BMW E46 Projector Headlight Angel Eyes 2D Coupe BM073 . The problem is it comes with two connecting harness's, One for the main lights while the other is for the angel eyes. My car only has one connector, because I have stock headlights. Now do i have to buy a wiring kit to power the angel eyes? or i have to do some type of wire tapping.

I want the angel lights to be on all the time when i am driving and when its night time, my main headlights turn on. Is that possible?

Or I have to tap the wire and my angel eyes only turn on when my main headlights turn on?

People also said i can tap the fog lights, can you turn the foglights on without having your parking lights on?

I don't know i'm confused and stuff. Right now my car is in the shop and the installer is waiting for answers. Hope i get answers ASAP

P.S. i'm leaning to do the parking light tapping. If there is a kit that would be even better!

My Ride: E92 soon?
Ya, you can tap into the fogs for a free solution, they can be turned on when the parking lights are on. Or buy a $30 from Bimmian.com which uses the ECU tap so it'll be on all the time. Then you can spend another $5 in part and add the remote yourself, so the rings will light when you press lock/unlock on the remote.

Thanks for replying n3895,

I decided not to tap into the parking lights or fog lights. because i can mess up the warrenty and stuff. But your idea about the $30 from Bimmian.com which uses the ECU tap sounds interesting. I looked on the site about lighting i couldn't find the product. Sorry i'm a noob, if you can have a direct link to the item that will be great. Thanks

P.S. Also anyone from San Jose, CA? Know a shop that does lighting for BMW's?

Depending on where you purchased from your kit should have come with a wiring harness. We can sell you a wiring harness separately if you would like however I cannot 100% guarantee it is compatible with your kit.

We do include wiring harnesses with all of our Projector kits.

$10 for an auxiliary light wiring harness from walmart (APC brand....I know, just because its a rice brand doesn't mean its crap) should do the trick. Discount Auto, Pep boys, Autozone, and walmart all carry that particular product or something similar. No need to spend $30 for the harness. Just cut the switch wire off on the aux harness and tap it into the ECU wire.

Thanks for replying everyone, below is a picture of my headlight. Do i need to cut off the connector on the back? On the left is my main headlights, while on the left is the angel eyes.

Another problem just arised, i just went to my car and i notice there is condensation built inside in the lamp. Is it because its sealed to tight?

I notice when i bought these headlamps on ebay the person epoxy all the sides to make sure its sealed tight. Should i removed some to make ventillation?

Depending on what harness you use, you will probably need to cut off the connectors.

As far as the condensation goes, that can arise from several issues. Those headlights DO NOT need epoxy, they are clip together so you should not need to use any other glue. Make sure the plastic cover is seated right on the gasket. Also make sure that the rubber grommets on the back are 100% on as these can lead to leaks.
