How do you pay for your Mods

Just wondering how people pay for their mods...especially when I see teenagers on the site dropping $$$$ into thier cars.

Me personally, I scrimp and save and pay cash...even though I don't have much yet, it'll be a slow process!!

Scrimp, save, get a job, pay cash. Pretty much same as you. By the way, 19 and in college.

I work a lot and play a lot of poker online ( Fulltiltpoker.com ) I pull in decent amount of money every week. But I also have bills and rent to pay.

While in school I worked part time and made about 600-800 a month which went to drinks, parties, food, and mods.

Now that I've graduated, the full time job is pulling in plenty of money to keep my mod frenzy appeased (heck i just finished installing led tail lights no more than an hour ago )

Despite being young, I would never go to the "bank of mom and dad" for mods... they helped me purchase a fabulous car but with the exception of a small mod here or there (they gave me m3 mirrors for xmas) I would never ask them to help me pay for a depreciating asset.

Get a CC that has a good deal on airmiles and use it. I charge absolutely everything to one CC that I pay off immediately as the items go on the card. It has netted me a lot of flights and upgrades for free over the years (Hawaii, Europe, Africa, Japan, Malaysia...)
