Hmm? Not sure. My brother in law used to work on the production staff for that show but is now the producer for "The Hills" (actually the author of the new "The Hills" companion book). Anyhow, next time I talk to him I will try to remember to ask him about that.

I talked to Robin from the San Diego cast and she said nothing. They also never paid for anything either though, everything was given to them.

no like Techi said free room and board...but I''ve noticed those that were on the show has used this to start a real career. There are some that are currently working in the media field. Movies, film, and entertainment journalism. The chick from Real World London, Jacinda Barrett , has appeared on a couple of movies.

yea free room/board/food, i was watching a re-run marathon of RW LV and one of the black girls said that she came to the house with like $15 is her pocket and that was it

i guess if you have literally no $ and a network offered to put you up in a suite, and pay for everything for a couple months in return for being on tv, i guess for people that have literally nothing else it would be the best place for them.

On that note, I'd really like to see a homeless people reality show.

I wouldnt be surprised if they paid them nothing; but the amount of exposure they get is crazy, the smart ones could make it big if they really want to easily.

I've seen that Mizz guy from the return to New York season on WWE wrestling. He plays sort of a buffoon commentator role.
