if they are OEM four fronts and not some aftermarket ones in a different oddball offset, you will be fine. (delete your previous blank post)

Sorry for not being more specific. From all my previous postings on this topic about the M3 guibo and manual vs. automatics, I thought everyone knew. That old Rogue Engineering link does not inform you that it won't work. So I'm keeping all those from finding out the hard way.

The Guibo/Flex Disc used on the E46 M3 #26-11-2-226-527 will NOT work on MANUAL E46 316/318/320/323/325s.

Did anyone mentioned installing M3 seats into a regular e46?

E46 coupe is a direct swap.
E46 sedan just requires you to swap the rail.

there was a DIY on this board. let me try to find the post.

P.S. Sorry if this (m3 seat) is a repost.

So is there no way of doing this mod safely?

So only the step tranny? If I have that tranny i should be okay? Does this improve performance when using step mode? Or just better durability?

Hey guys, new member from the U.K, any ideas how much lower the M3 OEM springs sit than the regular SE spec springs, and if they are a straight swap and can fit onto a facelift 318ise??

Thanks
Dave

my friend is getting a free set of aftermarket wheels m3 for his 04 330ci(coupe)

from what we found out the front should fit w/ no problems

The M3 is heavier, thus their springs would raise any other e46.

rears will not fit without serious modification, can't just roll (maybe with some skinny tires that wouldn't look good)

thank you for the response!

were hoping since it was a cheap aftermarket wheel offset or wheel size is wrong on the m3 that it might fit on the 04 330ci..

i appreciate your help

Smile These are the Original M3 wheels installes.

Had to put stiffer springs on rear to work. No scrub. but tight end not much bounce.
