This thread is for OEM M3 parts.

To answer your question, yes they will fit. Depending on the offset (which you didn't provide) you might have to size the tires down substantially in order to avoid rubbing. The offset tells you how far the wheels stick out.

This is somewhat related to OEM m3 parts. This I question I asked in another thread that didn't get answered. I really don't feel like making a new thread for this, so here's my question.

I might be buying a new to me steering wheel. My wheel has had a tear at the 12 o'clock position for some time and its starting to get to me. Does anyone know if the M-tech wheel off of a e39 530i will work with my 325ci?

Here is the part number for the 530 Wheel:
32342282025

Here is the part number for the M3 wheel that looks identical:
32342282020

Thanks for the help.

Yes, I don't see why it wouldn't fit. e60 steering wheels and e36 steering wheels both bolt up to e46, so this one should too. They also share the round air bag, which can be swapped between X5, e39, e46, etc. So yeah, just using deductive reasoning on what I DO know for sure, it will fit 100%.

I have a 2000 328ci and not too long ago the rear subframe broke, which apparently is common in e46s.. Anyways I was wondering if I could just get an e46 m3 rear subframe and bolt it right up without any fabrication?

The subframe should bolt right up, but you will need a custom driveshaft.
Note, the E46 have problems with subframe mounting points ripping and cracking. To fix and reinforce that, you will have to weld subframe reinforcement kit, or have the shop make one themselves.

I see and I've looked into the reinforcement kits on Turner Motorsports, do they really work that well on a subframe that's been damaged for a few weeks? Or should I go ahead and cop me a new one, they're relatively cheap! Thanks for the help bud!

so i read through the 1st 31 pages before i gave up

this has kind of been covered but M3 brakes on a non M. Ive seen the couple comments that say i need custom carriers but if the m3 brakes come with the m3 caliper carriers will this work with the m3 disc? im reading that this WONT work as the answer seems to obvious not to be mentioned. So this means the nonM hubs are different? I cant seem to find an answer on this.

Anyone know? i have the op to buy cheap m3 rotors, carriers and calipers in good condition

Its better to go with 330 brakes.. straight fit..

You will need lots of front axle M3 parts to do a proper job..

This has not been successfully done yet. People have plugged these in, and here are the results:
WORKS 100%:
- MPH
- RPM
- OnBoard Computer Functions
- Lights
- Indicators
- Engine Temp.
- Gas Info
DOES NOT WORK:
- Oil Temp. Needle
- RPM Warmup Lights
- Little orange ODO Tamper Light comes on...which is bad
This is a DIRECT PLUG AND PLAY, but will not work 100%. You be the judge...

with time it appears after many years to have been figured out how to do this. Post 30 in this thread gives a lot of info for those interested. will take some coding skills and a bit of work.

Nice! Glad to see that was finally figured out. Sounds like the coding isn't TOO hard if you know what you're looking for, and are looking through the correct software

I see in here that the M3 rear strut mounts will fit (without any other M3 parts, I am assuming. No one mentioned anything else). my question is, is it really a worthwhile upgrade? Is it just that they will last longer than our stock RSMs or is there more to it?
