difference between Solaris Neivus invisibulbs vs. xenon LED turn signal kit
what's the difference between
1. Solaris Invisibulbs - Neivus (xenon-white illumination) http://www.bimmian.com/SOL Is $50 shipped for a 6 pack a good deal on these? vs. 2. JleviSW's LED xenon-white turn signals http://jlevistreetwerks.com/store/BMW-E46-3-Series-Lighting/c30_33_35/p204/LED-Turn-Signal-Kits-for-Front-or-Rear-(Choose-Fitment/Color)/product_info.html?osCsid=c2d6f41c816d184d6661d388cb3b2259 (go to the bottom to look at the pics) Also, are the xenon-white Blinkers LEGAL? Any other clear bulbs that people here would recc'd? Thanks a lot |

Lol, true. I guess I meant, in terms of, aesthetics and actual light output (color, intensity, etc.).
And, are the white blinkers legal? |

^ white blinkers depends on your state law. i guess you could look it up in your dmv for you respective site. in terms of aethetics, you can kind of see the LEDs in the clears if you look close enough, the solaris is very hard to see even up close. light output, for the solaris, in the day it's ok, not as bright as i would have liked. but the diamond coat one is brighter. at night, it does a perfect job, and the color for the amber is exactly like AlexM105 pic. for the niveus one (white one), the color is more of a bluish gray white color where as the LEDs are a purplish blue white color.

According to DOT regulations, it is legal to have white or amber up front and red or amber in the rear.
I recommend our LED turn signals, not only do they provide the best xenon match available but create a slick flick on flick off effect that cannot be matched by filament based bulbs. If you are looking for a filament based bulb, you can also check out our Stealth Mirror Coated bulbs. |

Do the LED front turn lights illuminate at all when they are not being used? I have the LED sidemarkers and they glow a blueish color when the turn signal is not on.... also, does anyone make a led tail light that flashes red instead of amber or white? thanks

^ yes they illuminate just like your filament front corners do when you have your headlights on. other than that, it'll be off unless blinking. and there are no LED tails that i know of the flashes red. you can do it yourself, though that will require a higher degree of knowledge and skill.

I should also mention that they are completely white when off and are lifetime bulbs- meaning they will never burn out. |

does anyone know if the white blinkers are legal in Maryland/DC? I guess that's my biggest concern. I tired to find the codes for the state, but it's not very specific in terms of color. I don't want to attract unnecessary attention.
Also, do the white turn signals look tacky? |

White front turn signals are legal in all 50 states.
Here is what they look like next to a set of matching Predator Chromiums: |

Nope, that would require two bulbs or two sets of LEDs to accomplish unfortunately.
