1 new rear tire

Folks,

I have to replace 1 of my rear tire with a new one because of a puncture on the side. So i find myself with 1 tire with 70% remaining and the other one brand new.

Do you think it can be a problem under heavy rain? Can it result in loss of control because 1 tire would shed more water than the other? should i get 2 new rather?

Any ideas would be appreciated!
Thanx,

should be fine.

think of it as cars without LSD... onside is always going to wear faster then the other.
