Exclamation Need wheel spacer width help for E46 M3!!!

I can't decide what offset I would need. The offset of this rear is for an E39 5 series and I want it on my E46 M3. I'm thinking either a 10mm, 12mm, or 15mm. What do you think?

And yes, I'm aware my car's filthy.

20mm+ they look way sunk.

measure the distance from the tire to the fender lip, and use that size spacer.

If you dont want a full flush look, maybe 5 mm or so less than the fender lip to tire gap.

What is the offset of wheel? It should say ET## on the inside of the wheel.

Also, do you have the right center ring? The E39 is 74.0 center bore and your car is 72.6. Your wheels will 'wobble' if you don't put on the proper center ring

Hard to tell but my guess would be 12mm. Let me know what offset and width the wheel is and we will be able to provide you a more accurate answer.

If I remember correctly, the wheel is 9.5" width but don't remember the offset.

The offset is supposedly ET22. The M3 is ET18 if I remember correctly. Something tells me that 6mm won't be enough. I've been told by a couple people that 12mm would be best, and I think they're right.

As for the center rings, it does not have them. I'm attempting to locate those right now but coming up w/out success. The wheels are Hartge Classic 19's and I need them for all 4 wheels if anyone knows where to get them.

The factory offset is ET18 but if the wheels are ET22 then you can use 10mm spacer would should bring it out to the fender.

Adding 12mm to ET22 would make it ET34 on 9.5" rim which should stick out.

Contact Dazz Motorsports (626) 962-0033 for the center rings. Old Hartge importer. They are about $10ea if I remember correctly

In your control panel, click on Edit Signature, then highlight the html code for your picture and click on the button Insert Link. In that space, enter your weblink that you want.
Thanks for the compliment. The car was modded again and there's snow on the ground, so time for another picture.

No Dice on that one. Dazz doesn't carry Hartge anymore and coudn't recommend anyone else or give me any contacts on who to talk to. Any other ideas by chance?

I should have thought of that. I talked to them a while back about some Classic 2's.

I also sent an email to Hartge GmbH directly in Deutscheland, so hopefully that'll produce. I'm going to call TMS tomorrow.
