We actually have a few dynos on hand (not uploaded at the moment) but we are in the process of making a library of dynos for comparison purposes. We would like to get as many cars (both variety and volume) in the database as possible.

Again, it behooves you to at least give it a shot. There is a full 30 Day Money Back Guarantee on the software. If you are at all unsatisfied with the results, we will reflash you back to stock immediately at no cost to you.

hmmmm....but why would they need dynoes if they already guaranteed the gains? seems like they're confident enough about the product as is? I think also they're only giving free dynoes to people that drive down to L.A. CA to get it reflashed on the spot?

What you should be asking how did they get these GUARANTEED numbers for each e46 model without having dynos.

These numbers are based on a variety of E46 models that we have tested. Again the reason for offering the free dynos is so that we can strenghten our dyno database and create a library for more complete results.

You really have nothing to lose, if you get the software and it doesn't live up to your expectations- just get your car reflashed back to stock and get your money back!

Nick,

Not to be a pessimist and all, but no one else, Dinan or Conforti has any software for the M56 engine, but these guys do? I am extremely interested, yet hesitant. Are there any DYNOS to support their claim? THANKS!

haha I feel the same about the intrigue and the hesitation ...they're like forces that kind of cancel each other out. I guess for the time being, I get to save my $500+ =P

Yes we do have software for the M56 engine. The difference between the M56 and M54 is the ULEV classification of the M56 which makes it slightly different in terms of delivering the software. I have confirmed with Speed Innovations several times that the M56 software is available. HP/TQ gains and pricing will be identical to the M54 engines.

because you would be charged with a restocking fee when you return it and it would only take them a couple minutes to flash your software back to stock. Most people will tell you software makes the biggest difference in the world, but thats mainly just their butt dyno speaking and to justify their spending.

and of course, how can you introduce a new product to the public if the vendor isn't confident about?

Restocking fee on software? Not sure how we would put software back on our shelves but there is no restocking fee on software I can tell you that much

This is a full 30 day money back guarantee on the software, no restocking fee would be applied. As to your point about confidence, we are so confident in the software that we will lose money on your order by providing a money back guarantee.

We are still working on uploading an E46 dyno but we did get a C320 done today with a dyno to be posted later this evening or tomorrow. Stock the car makes 192HP, after the software, 220HP

I talked with Nick about it a little. Here's how it works:
1. you order through their website.
2. you ship your ecu to them in L.A. however you want (whether it be the fastest, or slowest)
3. they reflash the ecu the same day they receive it (or as early as possible)
and
4. they ship back to you useing the fastest fedex shipping (the shipping cost is included in the $499+ price)

It is completely reversible as they claim. I will save up some money, and have this done. It's worth a try, if 30-day money back is guaranteed. Will let you guys know how it goes!

actually Nick or Jon, would you guys be willing to give me half price for the ecu, and I'll drive all the way down to L.A. to have the dyno done and show everyone?

how difficult is it to upload an existing dyno? You guys had the dyno before the C320, but you posted the C320 dyno first?
