HID Ballast Mounting

Okay guys im trying to get an idea on the DIY for the HID foglights.

i was quoted $500 6 different places to have the fogs bought and installed.

Anyone have pictures of where they mounted the ballasts?
The most i should be spending on some HID kits is 300 right?

thanks guys

275$ - they have a great kit out. Proleum or something, pretty good.

$500 for an HID kit and installation!?!?! You can get a prolumen HID kit from jlevi for under $300. It's a plug and play kit and very easy to install. I don't have any install pics of the ballast, but I mounted it to where the bumper reinforcement is using zip ties.

Here's a DIY for HID fogs ballast mounting. http://www.my330i.com/mod45.php#F

When I did mine, I didn't have to remove my front bumper. Just remove the bottom panel to gain access to the front bumper flat area.
