On your bud's M3 what year is it?.. Was he able to control the windows and conv top via remote ?

I don't think it has a window pulling down feature..It just has autostart, unlock, and lock. Correct me if I am wrong. He has a 2001 M3 though.

u can do that u just need to buy a different window control module. its done through the auxilary input

you guys can put anything to this alarm, its a matter of buying different modules for it. but it can be installed with the basic; door, tilt, trunk, noise, alarm... etc. if you want it to be able to put the windows down u'll need to buy the module for it... if u want something to sense the outside.. u'll need the proximity sensor which is separate. hope this answers questions. by the way great price... this sells for 504. @ bestbuy. this is definitely a steal. i already have one and i'm loving it.
