I bought Angel Eyes for my 325 like 2-3 years ago for $80 from JLevi. Im pretty sure the cost of wires didnt go up in that time to $200.

They have more than likely upgraded the technology since then. There are kits you can buy for cheap, or you can buy the best quality on the market from JLevi.

Are you talking about the Predator Chromiums versus others? YES.
I have DDE Heated Raptors, and they're absolute CRAP. I have done about everything and they still don't work properly. I've had them on for about a year.
I have installed multiple sets of the Predator Chromiums on other M3's and they all look and work much better than mine and others I've seen. I'm putting Predator Chromiums on my car as soon as it warms up.

As for if they're worth it to own, that's up to you. Do you like how they look? They look aftermarket, but do not look gaudy. I am very impressed by their classy looks, and you will get a lot of attention for having them. They are a very good investment that you will be very happy with.

I have angel eyes on my M3, got it from ebay but it's not Predator Chromiums.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
it's bright and noticeable pure white but i like it with a blue tint to it. Got it for like 80 bucks.

They're "worth it" if you really like them.

I don't think they're worth the price they are being sold for.

makes your car really stand out, but not to much so. at night in the drag strip, if there's a line of 100 cars, you can tell which one is yours from far away with angel eyes. its such a nice touch.

i bought my ddes off of ebay...just the ccfls and the ignitors 100

did the wiring myself super easy

bought the "remote kit" from jlevisw for 10 ...all it was, a standard automotive relay and a wire ...any automotive store has them for under 5 bucks

either around 110 dollars and wire it yourself..which is super simple

or pay 200-250 for premade harness

no question imo

If you have some extra cash laying around, then get it. Do I think it's worth it? I guess so. Was I happy after installing it? Definately yes!!! One of my most cheapest mods that made such a big difference asthetically.

how are they quality wise, won't taking apart your headlight assembly cause condensation, vioding of factoy warranty, pain in the ass etc... I was thinkng about getting them but dont want dealer to void my warranty, or have to keep replacing them every month/year cause they break.

It's gonna be one of my next mods. I keep hearing so much positive feedback on the predators.
