pshh I think I've got the best jack in town. I've got a Michelin 13 ton school bus jack that I use. Needs 2 people to lift it around. My friend uses it in the trunk to lower his volkswagen in the rear lol.

Check with getbmwparts.com if you can pick it up to avoid the shipping expense. they charge 390 for the whole m-tech front end are are up in maryland. Worth the savings to just drive up there for a day with an SUV and grab it.

150 flat rate shipping for the bumper from tischer.

If you have time you can swing by my place this weekend or we can meet up somewhere. I'm close to newport news park. I have the newer victory RTAB that leaves the flange on. It looks just like the MIS tool, the two legs sit on the RTA between the flange gaps. The drift goes on the other side and just pulls the bushing out.

My Ride: kills bugs
Alright. Now that I've had a few days to sort out my thoughts, I'd like to start being a little proactive in this. I apologize if I did get a little emotional about it, but I was pretty upset.

I'm now going to request the advice of the local guys:

When I went to look at the e34 535i/5spd and put it on a lift, it turned out to be a complete rust bucket. The guy told me if I wanted his wheels instead, I could trade him and give him cash on top. We agreed on 400 on top of the trade cuz my wheels aren't worth shite.

I found out the day after, when I went to go get them balanced, that all 4 wheels are bent enough to make the wheel shake violently. I had them balanced to where it was bearable, and called him back. He said he "didn't know," and we agreed that he'd give me $200 back.

Conveniently enough, he has been completely unavailable via email and telephone since that day. I have his name, email address, telephone number... but not his address.

Now, I realize that making it 23 years and not having a bad business transaction until now is pretty awesome, but I'm thoroughly upset with how this turned out. I don't want my wheels back, I want money to get these fixed, which is going to cost me 85/wheel.

Thoughts? Help? Opinions? I don't know what else to do.

I've tried calling him from different numbers, blocked numbers, etc.

I was going to get the Koni coilovers set, it was on sale for $900 with adjustable shocks, struts, and dampeners. Now it looks like I'm back on the market again for both wheels and coilovers lol.

Cory, post up his name, email, phone number (cell phone or house?), and anything else about the guy. Maybe even license plate number of the vehicle, I'll see what I can do to find him.
