Anyone have an airbag code reader/reset tool? I was cleaning my car this weekend when I got the urge to go into a deep clean. I removed the front seats to vacuum underneath them and didn't realize that having my key in the ignition so that I could listen to music would throw the airbag light. So now i need to find someone who has the tool to reset it. Anyone have one that wouldn't mind resetting my light for me?

ok it looks like i'm about to get an e46 m3. 56,000 miles. slammed on staggered 19's black chrome lip. interior custom white leather. exterior alpine white. 10,000k HID. stock exhaust which i'll change as soon as I buy it. all of this for 10grand. I have to fly to chicago to get it. My new "friend" told me about it, i'll have pics soon.

Out of curiosity, when you need hardware for your BMWs, do you guys go to the hardware store or to BMW? I ask because until today I had always gotten my hardware from MB. They have always made very high quality bolts and such and always had them available. The reason things changed today is I went to buy a fuel injector hold-down bolt, was told the part number has changed to a new number, and lo and behold the new bolt doesn't fit. I'm wondering if this is about par for the course given the age of the vehicle, or if I have to finally concede defeat to BMW.

For me it is hard to find hardware at the hardware stores like Ace and Lowes because of the pitch and size like M12 and what not. I know you can get that sort of off the wall metric stuff from York Bolt. I have gotten some hardware there before.

They look nice and are not too heavy, but they handle poorly. Either change the suspension or ditch the staggered setup (and no matter which you choose, ditch the dead weight from the back bumper) and I think you have a decent car...just be sure to put an oil cooler on it if you want to track it.
