I just reserved the 26th at AIK for our June meet.

It will be $750 for us, $100 off the corporate rate, just like last time. If we get 25 people, it will be $30 per person just like last time as well... The more, the cheaper. I estimate that 27-35 is right about our sweet spot for seat time + cheapness. If you think $30 is much, check out the prices for single races. It is a hell of a good deal.

We can either have pizza provided (not free) or just go to lunch ourselves afterward. It will probably be cheaper for everyone for pizza, but it is up to us.

They will be open at 1030 for us. We need to be there at 1030. This makes sure we are in the seats and racing ASAP. I spoke to the people at AIK about the delay in starting last time, I don't expect that to happen again. (We waited about 5 minutes past 11 last time IIRC.)

The truth is alot of guys have attitudes. The guy who does my state inspections is a crotchety pain in the rear. He works at Don Greene's garage. I go there because it's easy to get in and the guy is very fair with the inspections. I mean, he doesn't let anything illegal slide but he doesn't go out of his way to find bogus things. It's funny because both guys gave me **** about my saab and the audi.. saying they wouldn't do any work on them (besides inspection). Good thing because I would never ask.

Anyway, I agree that if someone has issues they have a right to state their opinion about someone's attitude.

Speaking of attitudes, how about the service advisor Jeff at checkered flag? My assigned service advisor, Gina, wasn't there so he took my key and gave me the service paperwork. I told him clearly to his face I needed them to add checking my freon because it seemed weak. He said no problem and directed me to the loaner desk. I could tell by the way he acted that it wouldn't be added to the list. Sure enough, when Gina called and said my 135i was ready I asked about it and it wasn't done. I had to wait another day so they could check the a/c. I might ride out there after work one day soon so I can ask him why he has issues doing his job and why they aligned my E82 135i to E88 convertible specs.

I got a ticket for changing lanes in the tunnel today when i was clearly five feet out of it. I thought I pissed someone off because I was being followed really close (recklessly close) by a F-150 and he followed me all the way to work, up in the parking garage, and blocked me in. He got out of the car, banged on my trunk, and wrote me a ticket before he went to work. He told me he was lucky he didn't write me for reckless driving... WTF... what's reckless about changing lanes?

Downtown tunnel trying to make it to that first portsmouth exit? That's kind of BS, but i guess that's why they have the double solid lines there. People do it all the time, but I guess that guy was just in a bad mood. Was he even on duty? Can they just hand out tickets whenever the hell they feel like it? He had to be portsmouth PD or Hiighway patrol

improper lane change is a small fine, ive had one in VB it was like $90 total. majority being court cost.

Yep that damn DT Portsmouth exit. But yeah, snik is right, they can give you a ticket any time of day, on or off duty.

But here is the thing, I know I'm about 66% in the wrong here because it goes from a single solid line to a double solid line... but see the double solid line has dashes in the middle like this:

And the dashes look a lot newer than the solid lines. Why would they have both? Don't they teach you solid means no and dash means go?

questionable. look it up, see what it rally means, if there is any leeway for crossing, then go tell the judge, might gt thrown out.

Good luck defending your case. Did he turn any flashing lights on you to get you to stop? If he didn't, you already beat this sh1t in court...don't worry about it.
