No. Well maybe sarcasm yes but I just heard about it. Supposedly it will be some sort of east coast supra meet up there. I'm not sure how they are overrated? LOL It's right around the corner from my house and not in nj so whatev.

No badge, but he was in uniform in his private vehicle. The violation was on 264 and he was a portsmouth officer and he issued the ticket while in portsmouth. I have been pulled by a norfolk cop on 64 before and issued a ticket and have lost in court. I see norfolk cops pulling people on the interstate all the time... I thought they couldn't but that's what I get for taking 'Super Troopers' seriously, lol.

Do you know a good lawyer that's fairly cheap ($300 range)? My guy charges $700 for everything and this charge isn't worth $700.

yea, I just cant like supras, they weigh close to 4K lbs, handle like crap, a bmw stock block can handle more hp, and the bmw stock heads flow more than most stg 3 supra ports. I used to hang out a lot on the FI section on bf.c and there are some good numbers over there to back it up.

And NJ does suck, NJMP does not suck. I'm gonna guess you have never been to an endurance race? cause its kinda like a big car related party, where a race broke out in the middle.

cops can ticket u on the interstate, most people think only troopers can, but cops have all right to.
cops can ticket u outside his city ( ie norfolk cop sites u in VB) but they generally dont do it, out of respect, and not wanting to step on the next man's toe.

i think what hes asking is was the incident IN portsmouth? if he is a P town cop and he wanted to, he couldve followed u to norfolk and wrote u up, but it still happened in his jurisdiction.

def dont agree with that. and they weigh about as much as a E46 M3.

jersey doesnt suck, just the roads do. and where NJMP is u wont be anywhere near the NJ u know. u get off the Del Memorial bridge and take the 1st exit, u dont even really get on the turnpike and basically head south toward lower Jersey, to a small town called Millville.

NJMP is an awesome facility, and its not close to being done yet, the thunderbolt track has a great layout too.

Supras became overrated after F&F quadrupled the price, and nicely modded ones started going for $60k plus and bone stock low mileage ones over $30k

so yeah, theyre VERY much overrated when a RX7 can spank its ass if the same money is invested. since its smaller and about 600lbs lighter, and tend to go for less, but even RX7 prices got jacked up thanks to F&F.

Goodmorning all. Anyone ever have nightmares of hookers attacking them after meeting up with several after a bar or club or something similar to that nature with the exception of Cory.

I've been having odd dreams of me meeting women lately and they attack me out of rage nearly taking my life. I woke up last night to a nightmare that I felt I couldn't escape...but once back to reality my heart was beating very very fast and hard. I haven't been back to sleep since 4:51 this morning.

In all seriousness should I seek help?

last supra was designed in the early 90s. i think 90 or 91.
compare it to a BMW then to be fair...
engineering wise, they were pretty damn good for their time. they had the twin turbo thing on lock down.

if Toyota was to make a supra now, with the focus they did back then it would be quite interesting to say the least

do a search over on bf.c, I'm entirely too lazy, but the BMW stock block was good until 1500 and some change HP. supra stock blocks without being resleeved are only good until 1200, but I think someone may have upped that recently.

and snik, you were right, same options as an M3, they weigh the same, empty. Although I have seen one being corner balanced at 39xx lbs, must be the big turbo, intercooler, sunroof, AC, full fuel tank, etc...

and RX7's may be faster bang for buck, but just wait on those apex seals to leave you stranded somewhere. If we had gotten the euro e36 M3, I dont think anyone would say any of the japanese (j ap was bleeped out) cars were better. That and I think the M3 would have an even bigger turbo market.

Haha Super Troopers. Super Troopers had it all backwards anyways - State Troopers tend to be the hardnoses (unless you live on the southside, where they're all hardnoses).

There's nobody who I know to be cheap (though for some I just don't know anything about their fees). I also don't know any Portsmouth specialists, though it seems like on the Southside that's not as important as it is in other places.

Yes and no. In this situation, yeah I guess he could have...maybe, but if there were a search involved and that search turned up something...he may have just pissed away the evidence by not calling for a norfolk police officer in that situation (note use of the word may).

But yeah, what's more important is was the alleged violation in Portsmouth.

Please believe i prefer my car to a supra but i still think they are dope/nice to look at and somewhat rare. As far as going to an endurance race i have not been to one but i'd like to do that one day. Closest i've been to that was the Grand Prix of United States two years before they cut it off. Well that and a nascar nite race, which in fact was a 12 hour party.

which BMW block are we talking about, the S38 block?

i just mentioned the RX7 as a bang for buck comparison with the supra, but i def know they are trouble. I was talked out of one by a friend that blew up 2, and one was stock.

interesting stuff with the weight figures. ive always seen them coming in 3000 - 3500 lbs....
